The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R will be launched in India today at 6:40 pm (IST). You can watch the live launch event on Hero MotoCorp’s YouTube channel. The expected price range of this bike is ₹ 1,20,000 to ₹ 1,30,000 (ex-showroom).
Engine and Performance
The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R will get an uprated engine with a four-valve setup for improved performance. The engine will be a BS6 Stage 2 and OBD-2-compliant, 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled unit that will produce more power than the current two-valve engine. The current engine delivers 15 hp at 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm at 6500 rpm. The new engine will be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
Styling and Features
The New Hero Xtreme 160R will retain the aggressive styling of the current model with some minor tweaks. It will feature new upside-down (USD) front forks and petal disc brakes for better handling and braking. It will also get a revised digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration. The bike will offer dual-channel ABS for safety.

The New Hero Xtreme 160R will be available in three color options: Pearl Silver White, Sports Red and Panther Black. The dimensions of the bike are likely to remain unchanged from the current model. The current model has a length of 2029 mm, a width of 793 mm, a height of 1052 mm, a wheelbase of 1327 mm and a ground clearance of 167 mm. The kerb weight of the bike is 138.5 kg.
