Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift in India soon. The updated compact SUV will feature a host of changes, both inside and out, to make it more attractive and competitive in the segment. The exterior and interior images of the New 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Photos have been leaked online, revealing some of the key features and details of the model. Here is what we know so far about the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift.
The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will sport a refreshed front fascia, inspired by the Tata Curvv EV concept. The new Nexon will get a sleeker grille with a chrome strip, new LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a redesigned bumper with fog lamps and a skid plate. The side profile will remain largely unchanged, except for new alloy wheels and black cladding. The rear end will also get minor tweaks, such as new LED tail lamps, a revised bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler.
The new Nexon will be available in six colour options: Daytona Grey, Foliage Green, Flame Red, Pure Silver, Calgary White and Atlas Black. The dimensions of the new Nexon will be 3993mm in length, 1811mm in width, 1606mm in height and 2498mm in wheelbase. The ground clearance will be 209mm and the boot space will be 350 litres.

The interior of the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will be completely revamped, with a minimalist and futuristic design. The dashboard will feature a dual-tone, textured finish, with trapezoidal AC vents and chrome accents. The highlight of the cabin will be the 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, which will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The lower variants will get a 7.0-inch unit with an updated user interface.
The new Nexon will also get a digital instrument cluster with a 7.0-inch display, which will show various information such as speed, fuel level, trip meter, navigation and more. The steering wheel will be a two-spoke unit with a screen that will display the Tata logo. The steering wheel will also have mounted controls for audio, phone and cruise control.
Other features that are expected to be offered on the new Nexon include automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, electric sunroof, rear AC vents, rear parking camera, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, ambient lighting and more. The safety features will include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, corner stability control and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Engine and Transmission
The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will continue to use the same engine options as the current model. These include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 120 bhp and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that churns out 115 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. Both the engines will be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox. However, there are rumours that Tata Motors might introduce a new DCT gearbox for the petrol engine, which will be sourced from the Tata Altroz premium hatchback.
Launch Date and Price
The launch date of the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is not confirmed yet, but it is expected to happen in September this year. The new Nexon will compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Mahindra XUV300 in the sub-four metre SUV segment. The price of the new Nexon is likely to increase slightly over the current model, which ranges from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
