Datsun Cars Discontinued From India

Nissan India introduced the Datsun brand in the Indian market in 2013. The company’s goal is to provide affordable cars to customers who buy budget cars. So for the last 9 years, Nissan tried hard to improve the situation with Datsun, but now it has stopped production of Datsun cars.

Nissan had launched the hatchback car called Ready Go in India with high expectations to compete with the cheap hatchbacks like Maruti Alto. But, that car did not get a good response. Later, Datsun launched a cheap 7-seater car called Go Plus. It was cheaper than Rs 4 lakh. Datsun tried to attract customers by launching low-cost cars. However, the company did not succeed. The company has finally packed up from the Indian market. Earlier, the company also said goodbye to the Indonesian and Russian markets.
