Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 650
Our next bike is the Royal Enfield Himalayan 650. This bigger and more powerful Himalayan will use the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 engine. The parallel-twin engine on these bikes produces 47bhp and 52Nm. To suit its off-road nature, Royal Enfield may tune the Himalayan 650 engine differently.
The next Royal Enfield Himalayan 650 will include a high-mounted exhaust system, a 19-inch front wheel, and a greater seat height. It will resemble the Himalayan 400 by 80–85%. This bike may have an LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth and Tripper navigation, switchable dual-channel ABS, and tubeless tyres.
This bike will have telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock on a steel tubular frame. Both ends will have disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
We expect this bike to launch in late 2023 or early 2024. We estimate the price of this bike at Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most costly Himalayan yet.
