Honda Elevate Images: Honda has unveiled its new SUV, the Elevate, in India today. The Elevate is Honda’s first SUV in the Indian market after the discontinuation of the CR-V and the BR-V. Elevate is based on the same platform as the fifth-generation Honda City and shares its 1.5-litre petrol engine with it. The Elevate will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder in the midsize SUV segment.

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. This is the same engine that powers the Honda City sedan. The engine can be pair with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. Honda claims that the Elevate offers a smooth and refined driving experience with good fuel efficiency.

Honda will also introduce a hybrid variant of the Elevate later on, which will use a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and a battery pack. Honda Elevate Price and Launch

The Honda Elevate will be launched in India around the festive season of 2023. Bookings for the SUV will commence from July 2023. Honda has not revealed the pricing of the Elevate yet, but it is expected to be in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The Elevate will be Honda’s flagship product in India and will aim to revive its fortunes in the SUV segment.
