New Hyundai Exter Waiting Period in August 2023

Hyundai launched its subcompact SUV, the Exter, in India on July 10, 2023, at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Exter is a direct rival to the Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis and has already garnered a good amount of bookings. New Hyundai Exter Bookings and Delivery

According to Tarun Garg, COO at Hyundai, the Exter has accumulated over 16,000 bookings since bookings opened in May. He also said that bookings are coming at a rate of 1,800 per day. Out of these bookings, 38 percent are for the AMT variants, 22 percent are for the CNG variants and 40 percent are for the petrol manual versions.

Hyundai Exter Waiting Period in August 2023 – City Wise

Deliveries of the Exter have already started, and it will take an average of three months before you can get one. But the waiting time may be different for each variant and place. Our dealer sources have confirmed that, based on the model, the Exter has a Waiting Period of up to 12 weeks. The Waiting Period for the manual and CNG versions of the Exter is about six to eight weeks, while the wait time for the automatic models is between ten and twelve weeks.

Exter Features and Competition

The Exter is one of the most feature-rich cars under Rs 10 lakh. It gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, a dashcam with dual cameras and safety features like six airbags as standard across all trims. It also offers a CNG powertrain option, which is a segment-first feature.

Conclusion

The Tata Punch, the Citroen C3, and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis are some of the cars that the Exter compete with. Since May, when Hyundai started taking orders for its small SUV, the Punch, more than 22,000 units have been sold. During the same time period, Citroen C3 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis, two other cars that compete with Exter, have sold a lot less units.
