Hyundai Motors, a South Korean automobile giant, has posted a strong sale performance in June 2023, both in India and globally. The company has benefited from the launch of its new models, such as the Alcazar, the i20 N Line and the Ioniq 5, as well as the sustained demand for its existing products, such as the Creta, the Venue and the Grand i10 Nios. Hyundai Car Sales Report in June 2023
According to a report, Hyundai, the Indian subsidiary of Hyundai Motors, sold 50,001 units in June 2023, an increase of 5.6% over the same period last year, where the company sold 47,293 units. While overall domestic sales stood at 34,401 units, exports accounted for 15,600 units in June 2023.
Hyundai maintained its sale momentum from January to June in CY 2023 by selling a total of 2,73,316 units, surpassing the figures of 2,07,837 units sold in the same period last year thus resulting in a growth of 31.5%. Furthermore, the company’s solid performance is also reflected in the sales achieved in the first quarter of the current Financial Year (FY) with a 38.7% increase by selling 1,58,751 units compared to 1,14,428 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Tarun Garg, Director (Sale, Marketing & Service), HMIL said “Hyundai India registered cumulative sales of 50 001 Units for June 2023 with a growth of 5.6% over June 2022. This performance was driven by our super performer brands including CRETA , VENUE , VERNA , NIOS , i20 and recently launched ALCAZAR that received phenomenal customer response making it the highest selling SUV in its segment.”

According to a press release by Hyundai Motor America, Hyundai Motor America reported total May sale of 70,001 units in U.S., an increase of 18% on a volume basis and up 12% on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis versus May 2020.
For the first half of the year Hyundai Motor America reported sales of nearly 4.0 million vehicles up more than half from last year’s pandemic-impacted results.
Hyundai division posted June sales of 64,052 vehicles, up 16.7% on a volume and DSR basis.
