The Seltos facelift will sport a revised front fascia with a new grille that has integrated LED DRLs, redesigned LED headlamps and larger air dams. The rear end will also get a makeover with a new connected LED tail lamp design. The alloy wheels will also be updated with a new pattern. One of the major additions to the Seltos facelift will be a panoramic sunroof, which is currently missing in the outgoing model.
Interior & Safety
The interior of the Seltos facelift will also get some upgrades, such as a twin-display setup with a large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital driver’s display. The SUV will also come with Kia’s connected car technology that offers 58 smart features, such as remote engine start/stop, geo-fencing, live location tracking and more. Other features that are expected to be offered in the Seltos facelift are dual-zone climate control, cruise control, wireless charger, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera and an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite that includes features like lane keep assist, blind spot detection, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.
Engine
The Seltos facelift will likely retain the same BS6-compliant engine options as the current model, which include a 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. However, there are rumours that Kia might replace the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is more powerful and efficient. The transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, a 7-speed DCT and an iMT (intelligent manual transmission) that offers clutch-less shifting.
How Much Will It Cost And When Will It Launch?
Kia India has not revealed the exact launch date of the Seltos facelift, but it is expected to happen sometime in August 2023. The pricing details are also not known yet, but we expect it to carry a premium over the current model, which ranges between Rs. 10.89 lakh and Rs. 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
