Tata Motor Targeted Swift
Tata Motors is always targeting its competitors on social media. Tata Motors is good at mocking other companies’ cars through Twitter. Now, once again, Tata Motors has targeted Maruti Suzuki. This time Tata Motors trolled Maruti’s best-selling hatchback car Swift after getting a zero rating in the Latin NCAP crash test.
The company targeted Swift by sharing a photo from its official Twitter account. The message on this photo was “Don’t gamble with safety”. In addition, the company posted a photo of Swift’s English alphabet (SIWTF). The post was deleted shortly after, but by then the post had gone viral and netizens had a lot of fun too.

Maruti Swift NCAP Crash Test Result
The Maruti Swift received a zero rating in the recent Latin NCAP crash test. The crash test involved a Swift manufactured at Maruti’s Gujarat plant. Made in India Swift got zero-rating for the safety of children in a crash test. It has a rating of 15.53 percent (6.21 points) for adult safety, 66 percent for pedestrian safety features, and 7 percent for other safety features. The Swift has been given a zero star rating due to the car’s poor side effect protection and open door during the test. In addition, the car’s rear impact protection performance was not satisfactory. Side airbags provided for head protection were also not present in the car, which was a major shortcoming, the Latin NCAP said in its report.
Tata Motors Tiago Got 4 Stars
Tata Motors, on the other hand, promoted its hatchback Tiago with a fun photo and underlined that the Tiago, unlike the Swift, received a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. Maruti Swift is the best-selling car in its segment in the market, but this year the company has launched this car in the facelift model. The two cars collide well. When it comes to the price of both cars, the Maruti Swift has priced between Rs 5.81 lakh and Rs 8.56 lakh. The Tata Tiago has priced between Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 7.04 lakh. These are ex-showroom prices.
