Ather 450X Range

The Ather 450X has a claimed range of up to 116 km on a single charge, making it suitable for city commuting. The range varies depending on the riding mode, with Warp mode offering the highest performance and lowest range, and Eco mode offering the opposite. The scooter also has a Smart Eco mode that optimizes the range based on the destination entered in the onboard navigation system.

Ather 450X Battery Used

The Ather 450X uses new 21700 cells (Tesla uses the same) for a capacity of 2.9 kWh, out of which 2.6 kWh is usable. The ~10% has been left inaccessible to reduce the effective number of charge cycles and extend the battery life. The battery pack is water and dust resistant with an IP67 rating and has an aluminium alloy casing for protection and cooling.

Charge Time of Ather 450X

The Ather 450X can be charged using either the home charger (Ather Dot) or the public fast charger (Ather Grid). The home charger takes about 5 hours and 45 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 100%, and about 3 hours and 35 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%. The fast charger can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in just 10 minutes, and from 0 to 80% in about 40 minutes.

Variants

The Ather 450X is available in two variants: STD and With Pro Pack. The STD variant costs Rs. 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers all the basic features of the scooter, such as disc brakes, alloy wheels, electric start, LED lights, etc. The With Pro Pack variant costs Rs. 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers some additional features, such as music and call control, welcome lights, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc.

Charger

The Ather 450X comes with a home charger (Ather Dot) that can be installed at the owner’s residence or workplace. The charger has a sleek design and a long cable that can reach up to 15 feet. The charger also has an auto cut-off feature that stops charging when the battery is full. The owner can also access the public fast charger (Ather Grid) network that is available in select cities across India. The fast charger can charge the scooter at a rate of 1.5 km/min, and also provides free charging for all electric vehicles till March 2023.

New Features of Ather 450X

The scooter comes in three colours: White Space, Grey Space, and Mint Green. The scooter also has LED lights on both ends, giving it a premium appearance.

Top Speed

The Ather 450X has a top speed of 80 km/h, which is more than enough for most city roads. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, providing a thrilling riding experience. The scooter also has four riding modes: Warp, Sport, Ride, and Eco. That allow riders to choose between performance and range according to their preference.

The ex-showroom price of the Ather 450X is Rs. 1.28 lakh for the STD variant and Rs. 1.48 lakh for the With Pro Pack variant. The ex-showroom price is the price of the scooter before adding any taxes, fees, or charges.

The on road price of the Ather 450X in Delhi is Rs. 1.35 lakh for the STD variant and Rs. 1.56 lakh for the With Pro Pack variant. The on road price is the final price of the scooter after adding all the taxes, fees, and charges, such as RTO, insurance, registration, etc.
