The Kia Seltos facelift is launched in India by August 2023, and will feature some cosmetic changes to keep it updated. The facelifted model will likely get a new front grille with a honeycomb pattern, new LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, new fog lamps, new alloy wheels and new tail lamps. The overall shape and size of the Seltos will remain unchanged, as it is already a well-proportioned and attractive SUV.

The Tata Nexon facelift was launched in January 2020, and it received a major makeover that made it look more aggressive and sporty. The facelifted Nexon got a new front fascia with a sleeker grille, sharper headlamps with LED DRLs, a revised bumper with new fog lamps and a silver skid plate. The side profile got new alloy wheels and body cladding, while the rear got new LED tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. The Nexon also got two new colour options – Foliage Green and Tectonic Blue.

In terms of dimensions, the Kia Seltos is longer, wider and taller than the Tata Nexon, but has a shorter wheelbase. The Seltos also has a larger boot space than the Nexon, but both offer ample cabin space for five passengers.

A 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel power the Kia Seltos. The 1.5-litre petrol engine develops 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual or IVT automated transmission. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine produces 138 bhp and 242 Nm of torque and is mated with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed AT gearbox powers the 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 113 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

A 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel power the Tata Nexon. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine produces 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque and is connected to a 6-speed manual or AMT transmission. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox drives the 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 108 horsepower and 260 Nm.

In terms of performance, the Kia Seltos has an edge over the Tata Nexon in terms of power output, especially with the turbo petrol engine. However, the Nexon has an advantage in terms of fuel efficiency, as it offers better mileage figures than the Seltos.

    The front and back of TATA Punch looks better than Nexon. So Nexon front and rear should be replaced with Punch front and rear.
