The prismatic cell battery is a type of lithium-ion battery that has a rectangular shape and offers high energy density, safety and durability. The MG6 battery is also equip with an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors and controls the battery temperature, voltage, current and state of charge to optimize the performance and lifespan of the battery.
Charge Time for MG 6
The charge time of an electric car is the time it takes to fully charge its battery from zero to 100%. The charge time depends on the battery capacity, type and charger type. The MG 6 offers two types of chargers: a standard AC charger and a fast DC charger. The standard AC charger can be plug into any normal wall socket and can charge the MG 6 battery from zero to 100% in 8 hours. The fast DC charger can be accessed at any public charging station or MG dealership and can charge the MG6 battery from zero to 80% in 40 minutes.
