Tata Motors has recently launched the facelifted version of its popular compact SUV, the Nexon, in the Indian market. Exterior Looks of Nexon Facelift Smart + (S Option)

The Smart + (S Option) variant of the new Nexon facelift looks similar to the base Smart variant, but with some noticeable differences. It gets the same closed-off grille with the dual air dams, and the same split headlamps. However, it also gets fog lamps and sequential turn indicators that add some flair to the front fascia. The headlamps and DRLs are LED units, but they have a different setup compared to the other variants.
The side profile of the Smart + (S Option) variant is also similar to the base variant, with 16-inch steel wheels without any covers. However, it gets body-coloured door handles and electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators. It also gets roof rails that enhance the SUV stance of the Nexon.
The rear profile of the Smart + (S Option) variant also features LED tail lamps, but without the “X” motif and any sequential animation. It also gets a rear skid plate and a rear wiper/washer that are missing in the base variant. The Smart + (S Option) variant is available in three colour options: Calgary White, Flame Red, and Daytona Grey.
Interior Features of Nexon Facelift Smart + (S Option)

The cabin of the Smart + (S Option) variant of the new Nexon facelift gets an all-black theme with fabric seat upholstery. It still gets the cool-looking two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit display housing the Tata logo. However, it also gets steering-mounted controls for audio and phone functions that are not present in the base variant. It also gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also gets four speakers and two tweeters for an enhanced sound experience.
The Smart + (S Option) variant also gets some additional features such as all power windows, electric tailgate release, height-adjustable driver seat, tilt-adjustable steering, rear parcel tray, and a 12V socket at the rear. However, it does not get climate control system or rear AC vents.
Safety Features
The Smart + (S Option) variant of the new Nexon facelift comes with all the safety features that are standard across all variants. These include six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold control (HHC), ISOFIX child seat mounts, three-point seat belts for all passengers, and rear parking sensorsā“. These features make the Smart + (S Option) variant one of the safest options in its segment.
Nexon Facelift Smart + (S Option) Price in India
The Smart + (S Option) variant of the new Nexon facelift is available with both petrol and diesel engines with manual transmission options. The ex-showroom price of this variant is Rs 9.09 lakh for petrol. The on-road price in Delhi for this variant is Rs 9.73 lakh.
