Yamaha Motorcycle India today (Dec. 21) updated the famous bike R15 range in its vehicle portfolio. The company has launched updated models of its two bikes R15 V4 and R15M in the Indian market. Online booking of both the bikes has also started from today and interested customers can book from the official website of the company.

Price

The Yamaha R15 V4 Metallic Red color option is priced at Rs 1,67,800, while the Yamaha R15 V4 Dark Knight color option is priced at Rs 1,68,800 and the Yamaha R15 V4 Racing Blue color option bike is priced at Rs 1,67,800. , 72,800. The company has launched the Yamaha R15M in India for Rs 1,77,800. The company has also launched the R15M Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition with a special branding of MotoGP on Fairing with fuel tank, front mudguard, and rear side panel.

Engine & Features

The company has brought the new Yamaha R15 series with several updates. So the new Yamaha R15 is even more spectacular than the old bike. The front has a different design for footpegs without fairing windscreen, LED headlights, daytime running lights, exhaust muffler. So, the M variant has blue-colored wheels with a silver paint scheme and a different type of seat cover. The company has offered USD fork suspension in the R15 series launched in India for the first time. It uses the same 155cc 4-valve, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as before, which generates 18.4 hp of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. But its power is less than the current model up to 0.3 hp.

The new bike has a number of advanced features like Traction Control System (TCS), Quick Shifter with Premium, and Superbikes. It features a new LCD instrument cluster like the YZF-R1 with an upside-down front fork, Bluetooth connectivity, Yamaha motorcycle connect, and gear shift indicator. Apart from the new R15, the company has also launched the new Aerox 155 Maxi-Scooter in India.
