According to media reports, the Next-Gen Ford Ecosport Facelift is expected to hit the showroom by the end of October. The design of this popular compact SUV of the company will get some changes and upgrades.

US automaker Ford has been testing updated EcoSport in the country for some time. Meanwhile, the automaker has not clarified when it will be launched. But according to media reports, the new 2021 Ford EcoSport Facelift is expected to hit the showroom by the end of October. The design of this popular compact SUV of the company will get some changes and upgrades. Facelift EcoSport can be more expensive than current models.

According to the report, some specific changes will be made in the new Ford EcoSport 2021. It will have an L-shaped LED DRL. an updated front bumper with a fox skid plot on the bottom. and a modified fog lamp assembly to create an additional gap in the portfolio compared to the current model. No changes were made to the headlamp unit, ORVM, alloy wheels, and LED taillamps. The automaker could offer a new color option in the facelifted EcoSport model lineup.

Minimal changes will be made to the cabin. The new 2021 Ford EcoSport Facelift could feature an upgraded SYNC3 infotainment system with new seat upholstery, updated connected car technology, and Android connectivity with Apple Care Play. EcoSport’s facelift will be offered in five trims – Ambiente, Trend, Trend +, Titanium, and Titanium +. Top-end titanium trim includes 6 airbags, automatic headlamps, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control adjustable speed-limiting device, rear side Isofix child seat mounts.
In terms of engine and power, the new Ford EcoSport 2021 will be available with the same petrol and diesel engine options as the current variant. In the petrol version, it will be a 1.5L, 3-cylinder unit capable of producing 120bhp of power and 149Nm of torque. At the same time, its diesel variant also comes with a 1.5L engine, which is capable of delivering 99bhp of power and 215Nm of torque. For transmission, it will have two gearboxes – 5-speed manual (standard) and 6-speed automatic – available on petrol variant only.
