Rugged Electric Scooter Gives 160km Range In Single Charge Now Book only Rs. 499

Innovations are being made in the field of electric mobility and in addition, electric models equipped with modern technology are appearing in the market. The biggest impact of this competition is seen in the electric bike division. Recently, Mumbai-based electric vehicle startup eBikeGo launched its new stylish electric scooter- Rugged in the domestic market. To compete with the Ola S1 eScooter and the Simple One eScooter, the company has introduced this Rugged Electric Scooter with a powerful driving range at a low price.

Decorated with an attractive look and a strong battery pack, this electric scooter is launched in two variants G1 and G1 +. The company claims that the ‘running cost’ of this electric scooter is very low, it will cost you only 25 paise per kilometer to operate. That is, for 1 rupee you can travel 4 km and for 100 rupees you can travel up to 400 km.

Booking starts at Rs 499, 2 driving modes –

The company has brought this stylish electric scooter at a lower price than Ola and Simple One and has also started booking on the company’s official website for just Rs 499. Delivery will also start from November 21. With a sleek look and design, the scooter has a wheelbase of 1350 mm, a ground clearance of 175 mm, and a width of 850 mm, while the total weight is 120 kg. The company has given two driving modes in this electric scooter, Eco and Power.

Battery fully charged in 4 hours & top speed of 70 kmph –

eBikeGo has given the company a 2 kWh capacity battery pack in its Rugged Electric Scooter, which can also be replaced. It takes very little time to replace the ‘swappable’ battery. eBikeGo claims that the battery can be fully charged in 4 hours and has a range of about 160 kilometers. This means that once charged, it can travel up to 160 km. It uses a 3kW powered motor that helps the electric scooter run at a speed of 70 km per hour.

Features, brakes, and storage space –

Rugged electric scooters have an internet facility along with 4G connectivity. This scooter can also be locked or unlocked remotely through the mobile app. The company has also developed a special mobile app for this. It also provided 12 different sensors. It also has features like Navigation, Vehicle Location, Intelligent Vehicle Monitoring, Anti-Theft. It has disc brakes with alloy wheels, combined braking system (CBS). In addition, this electric scooter has a storage capacity of 50 liters.

Modes & Range

Rugged electric scooters have two driving modes, Echo and Power. The company claims that it has a driving range of 160 km in Eco mode and up to 135 km in Power mode.

Rugged Electric Scooter Price In India

Along with the Ola and Simple One, the Rugged Electric Scooter is priced at Rs 79,999 and the G1 + variant at Rs 89,999. These prices include the FAME II subsidy. But after the subsidy from the Maharashtra state government, the price of scooters will go down even more.
