The interior of the Tata Punch CNG will be similar to the standard Punch, except for an additional CNG button to switch between petrol and CNG modes. The exterior look of the Tata Punch CNG will be identical to the standard Punch, except for an ‘i-CNG’ badge on the boot lid. The Punch CNG will have a sporty and rugged design, with elements such as:

Engine
The Tata Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine that will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine will produce 86hp and 113Nm of torque in petrol mode, while in CNG mode, it will make 77hp and 97Nm of peak torque. The Punch CNG will have two driving modes – Eco and City – to optimize performance and efficiency.
Mileage
The Tata Punch CNG will have a dual-fuel system, which means it can run on both petrol and CNG. The exact mileage figures of the Punch CNG are not yet reveal, but we expect it to be significantly higher than the petrol variant, which delivers 18.8kmpl (ARAI). The Punch CNG will have two 30-litre CNG cylinders in the boot, which will give it a total CNG capacity of 60 litres.
