UGC NET Admit Card 2023 & Exam Time Table

If you are planning to appear for the UGC NET 2023 exam, you must be wondering when and how to download your admit card. The UGC NET 2023 exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. UGC NET Roll Number

The UGC NET admit card is an essential document that contains important details such as your name, roll number, exam date, shift, timing, venue, instructions etc. You need to carry your admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID card etc.) and a passport-size photograph to the exam centre. Without the admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

The UGC NET admit card will be issued in the month of June 2023 before 15 days from the examination. The NTA has also released the exam city slip for UGC NET June 2023 on its website from 8th June onwards. The exam city slip is a document that informs you about the city where your exam centre is located. You can download your exam city slip by logging into your account using your application number and password or date of birth. The exam city slip is not the same as the admit card. You will get the exact address of your exam centre on your admit card.

You should also read the instructions given on your admit card carefully and follow them during the exam. Some of the important instructions are:

  • Reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.
  • Carry your admit card, photo ID proof and passport-size photograph to the exam centre.
  • Do not carry any prohibited items such as electronic gadgets, calculators, watches etc. to the exam centre.
  • Follow the social distancing norms and COVID-19 guidelines issued by the NTA.
