1. Maruti Suzuki Invicto
The most expensive and luxurious model from India’s largest carmaker, the Invicto is a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross. The Invicto will be sold through the premium Nexa dealerships and will offer features like leather seats, captain chairs, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Invicto will also come with a hybrid option that will offer better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The Invicto is expected to be launched on July 5 with a starting price of around Rs. 19 lakh.
2. Kia Seltos Facelift
Kia Seltos, one of the most popular midsize SUVs in India, is set to receive a facelift in July 2023. The Seltos facelift will have a new grille, headlights, daytime running lights, bumper, and bonnet.
Features
It will also get new fog lamp housings and an ADAS module on the front bumper. At the rear, the Seltos facelift will get tweaked taillights with a split connecting light bar and a new rear bumper with sporty exhaust tips. The Seltos facelift will also get new alloy wheel designs and dual-tone exterior paint options.
On the inside, the Seltos facelift will feature a fresh look with a new dashboard, a dual-display setup with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.
It will also get new upholstery, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging pad, electronic parking brake with auto-hold and powered boot opening.
ADAS
The Seltos facelift will come with a panoramic sunroof and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that will include features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection and forward collision warning.
Engine
The Seltos facelift will continue to be get the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine as the current model. However, it will also get a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that will replace the 1.4-litre engine that was discontinue earlier this year. This new engine will produce 160 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque and will be a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The expected price range of the Seltos facelift is Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 17 lakh.
3. Hyundai Exter
The Hyundai Exter is a new compact SUV that will be launch in India in July 2023. The Exter is based on the Hyundai Venue platform but has a different design language that draws inspiration from nature and outdoor lifestyle.
Exter has a distinctive front fascia with split headlamps, Y-shaped LED DRLs, a large grille with chrome and piano black inserts and a prominent chin with brushed aluminum finish.
The Exter also has a high ground clearance of 200 mm and 17-inch alloy wheels with a stylish X-shaped design. The rear of the Exter has LED tail lights, a roof spoiler, a black bumper with silver skid plate and a Hyundai logo on the tail gate.
Interior
Exter has a spacious and youthful interior with a dual-tone theme, a connected type 8-inch HD infotainment system with digital cluster, sporty semi-leatherette upholstery, more legroom and a 50:50 split rear seat. The Exter also comes with some unique features such as a voice-enabled smart electric sunroof and a dashcam with dual camera that has front and rear camera, a 2.31-inch LCD display, smartphone app based connectivity and multiple recording modes.
Engine
The Exter is power by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. It is pair with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. It also gets idle start-stop technology for better fuel efficiency. The Exter also has a CNG variant that uses the same engine but with lower power and torque outputs.
Safety
The Exter is India’s first sub-4 meter SUV to get 6 airbags as standard across all trims. It also offers 26 safety features that are standard on all models and optional on entry trims. These include features like ESC, VSM, HAC, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ESS, burglar alarm and more. The expected price range of the Exter is Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh.
5. Citroen C3 Aircross
The Citroen C3 Aircross is the brand’s fourth product for India after the eC3 , C3 hatchback and C5 Aircross SUV. It will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier and MG Hector. The C3 Aircross was globally unveil in India in April 2023 and will be launch in the second half of 2023. The C3 Aircross is built on the brand’s CMP modular platform and has a length of 4.3 meters.
It has a distinctive Citroen design with a high bonnet, LED headlamps with Y-shaped DRLs, a large grille with chrome inserts, vertically stacked LED fog lamps and a silver skid plate on the front bumper. The side profile of the C3 Aircross has round wheel arches, black cladding, roof rails, dual-tone exterior paint and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Interior
The C3 Aircross has a dual-tone interior theme with brushed aluminum inserts for the inner door handles. A touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors. The C3 Aircross is power by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine whose specs are yet to be reveale. It will be pair with a six-speed manual transmission as standard and will get idle start-stop tech for better efficiency. An automatic transmission option will be offere later. The expected price range of the C3 Aircross is Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh.
