Kia Sonet Facelift Exterior Look – Photos
The Sonet facelift will get a major makeover on the outside, with new headlamps, grille, bumper, fog lamps and tail lamps. The headlamps will have a sleek horizontal design with LED DRLs and a drop-down element that connects with the fog lamp housing below. The grille will have a larger mesh pattern and a chrome surround. The bumper will have a wide central air intake and muscular skid plates. The tail lamps will have a vertical orientation and will be connected by an LED light bar. The alloy wheels will also get a new dual-tone design.

But what about the interior of the Sonet facelift? Will it be as impressive as the exterior? Let’s find out.
The interior of the Sonet facelift is expect to get some updates as well, such as new dashboard design, trims and panels. The Sonet already has a premium and spacious cabin with a 10.25-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging pad, sunroof, ventilated front seats, LED sound mood lighting, drive modes and traction modes, air purifier and more. The facelifted Sonet could get some additional features such as a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, etc.

The Sonet facelift will also be loaded with safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, hill assist control, rear parking camera and sensors, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, etc. The Sonet facelift will also comply with the latest emission norms and will be compatible with E20 fuel.
Engine and Transmission Options
Three engine choices will remain available for the Sonet Facelift Model. A 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque. A 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 120 hp and 172 Nm of torque. And a 1.2-liter normally aspirated petrol engine with 83 hp and 115 Nm of torque. There will be five different manual gearbox options available. A five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, an intelligent manual transmission (iMT), an automatic transmission (AT), and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
Kia Sonet Facelift Launch Date and Price
The Kia Sonet facelift is expect to be launch in India by the end of 2023 or early 2024. It will compete with other compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Magnite. The Sonet facelift is likely to be price slightly higher than the current model, which starts from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
