The new Harrier has a luxurious and spacious cabin that can accommodate five passengers comfortably. The interior features black or dark tones, with leather upholstery and wood accents. A 9-inch touchscreen entertainment system with Bluetooth, USB/AUX ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and navigation featured on the minimalist dashboard.

The driver information system displays various parameters on a 7-inch TFT screen between the analog gauges. The steering wheel has tilt and telescopic adjustment and mounted controls for audio, phone, and cruise control. The front seats have 12-way power adjustment and ventilation function. The rear seats have a 60:40 split-folding function to increase the boot space from 296 litres to 831 litres.

The new Harrier has various safety features to safeguard occupants. It has the Toyota Safety Sense system, which includes Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Adaptive High-beam System, and Road Sign Assist.

It also has seven airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Parking Support Brake (PKSB), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a 360-degree camera.

Comfort and Convenience

The new Harrier offers a comfortable and convenient ride for the occupants. It has a panoramic sunroof that can be opened or closed with a touch of a button. It also has an electric parking brake with auto-hold function, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, voice command, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, rear armrest with cup holders, glove box with illumination, trunk light, vanity mirror with light, power windows with one-touch up/down function, power-adjustable and electric-folding exterior rearview mirrors with turn indicators, rain-sensing wipers, LED headlamps with auto-leveling function, LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators, LED fog lamps, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), roof rails, shark fin antenna, rear spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Toyota Harrier Launch Date and Price in India

The new Harrier is expected to be launched in India in early 2023. The expected price range of the new Harrier is Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 40 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Harrier will compete with other full-size SUVs such as the Ford Endeavour, MG Gloster, Mahindra Alturas G4, Hyundai Palisade, and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.
