According to Autocar, Yamaha India’s chairman Eishin Chihana aims to launch the new YZF-R3 in India between December 2023 and March 2024. The company is also discussing the possibility of launching the MT-03, which is the naked version of the R3, in India as well.
The New YZF-R3 is expected to be priced around Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This makes it slightly more expensive than its rivals like the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC 390, but cheaper than the Kawasaki Z650 and the Harley-Davidson X440. The price may vary depending on the colour options and the availability of accessories.

A 321 cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC, inline-two-cylinder engine powers the New YZF-R3. The engine produces 41.4 HP of maximum power at 10,750 RPM and 29 NM of peak torque at 9,000 RPM.A wet multi-plate clutch six-speed gearbox drives the engine. The engine is high-revving and smooth.
