The 2020 ODI series, which India lost 2-1, will be rematched in the opening match against Australia.
- The first bilateral ODI between the archrivals since September 2018 will be against Pakistan. It will be their first World Cup match in India.
- England will play India again in the 2019 World Cup league stage, which India lost by 31 runs.
- India can avenge their 2019 World Cup semi-final loss against New Zealand.
India has won two World Cups and made seven semi-finals. They have won 53 of 85 World Cup matches, 62.35 percent.
