Mahindra XUV400 will run 350 km on a single charge, will be designed as powerful as a petrol SUV

Mahindra XUV400 : India’s famous carmaker Mahindra has recently confirmed that it is set to launch a new electric SUV based on the XUV300 platform next year. It is believed that Mahindra can launch its electric SUV in the early phase of next year i.e. in January 2023 itself. The company has also started testing this new model on Indian roads. It is also being said in some reports that this new model will be called Mahindra XUV 400 EV.

Some spy images have also revealed that the XUV 400 EV will look quite different from Mahindra’s original XUV 300 sub-4 meter SUV. Mahindra’s new XUV 400 is expected to have a length of 4.2 meters as the sub-4 meter rule for subsidy benefits does not apply to electric vehicles.

Talking about the tail-lamp design, it has also been completely revised.

Some more images of this model have revealed that unlike the regular electric cars, the charging slot will be placed on the front fender. Most of the design features of this new model from Mahindra will look similar to the e-XUV300 concept. The e-XUV300 was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The XUV400 will also get a closed front grille, different style bumpers, new headlamps and alloy wheels.

XUV400 to be based on MESMA
