Skoda Octavia 2021 Launch Date
Skoda Auto India has postponed the launch of its 2021 Skoda Octavia. The company had planned to launch the car in the Indian market in April. However, its launch was postponed to May. However, now Skoda has postponed the re-launch. The Corona epidemic has created a major crisis in the country. Due to the epidemic, strict restrictions have been imposed in many states. Jack Hollis, director of Skoda Auto India, confirmed in response to a user’s question on Twitter that the new Octavia will be launched in June. He also said that discussions are underway on the format of the car’s launch and the date on which it will be launched.

Skoda was preparing to launch the car in late April or early May. However, due to the second wave of Corona, the company decided to avoid the launch. However, Indian consumers had to wait for it. Skoda said production of the car has started at its plant in Aurangabad. However, the official launch of the car has been postponed for some time now.

New Octavia 2021 Platform
The new Octavia is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform. Compared to the previous model, the new model will be 19 mm long and 15 mm wide. This will give more space and comfort to the passengers. The new Octavia 2021 will get a 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine. This engine monitors 190 bhp of power. The engine comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This engine has also been used in the Skoda Superb. This car will not have a diesel engine.
