The big reason for the popularity of this electric car is its price. The Nexon EV is the cheapest electric SUV in the country. Prices in the Indian market range from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 15.99 lakh. As there is no other electric car in this range, it has also had a good effect on sales.

The Tata Nexon EV is powered by a permanent magnet AC motor. It comes with a lithium-ion battery for power, which is liquid-cooled and IP67 certified. This means that the battery is protected from water and dust. The Nexon EV comes with a 30.2 kWh battery. This electric car can cover a distance of 312 km on a single charge. Its new electric powertrain produces 245 Nm of peak torque. So this electric car can reach a speed of 0-100 kmph in just 9.9 seconds.
